Radio One is relaunching its Classic Country “Rodeo Radio” 92.9 KKBQ-HD2 Pasadena/Houston TX as “Pasadena Rodeo Radio” in partnership with the Pasadena Livestock Show & Rodeo.

The station will continue to play Country music from the 1930s through 90s.

The partnership will run through the end of the rodeo, which takes place from September 18 to 26th. Pasadena Livestock Show & Rodeo Executive Board Vice President Bear Hebert will serve as imaging voice of the station and narrate twice hourly public service vignettes highlighting the rodeo’s concerts, events, mission, scholarship program, and impact on the local community.
