After dropping the “MeTV FM” brand from 103.1 Palm Springs last December, KGAY PSP is relaunching it on 92.1 KMEE Thermal/Indio CA on Monday, August 3.

“92.1 MeTV-FM“, which will cover the east side of the Coachella Valley, will replace a simulcast of AC “Sunny 106.5” K293CL Thousand Palms/KGAY-HD2 that had launched following the company’s programming shuffle completed at the end of 2025 that saw the LGBTQ+ Dance “KGAY” brand moved from 92.1 and 106.5 to 103.1 replacing KMEE.

Owner/CEO Brad Fuhr said, “When we switched formats late last year to move KGAY to a better frequency, we also launched Sunny 106.5 in our radio family. Sunny 106.5 quickly developed its own loyal audience, but we heard repeatedly from MeTV FM fans that they missed the music, the memories, and the unique companion on the radio that MeTV FM provides. We are thrilled to bring 92.1 MeTV FM back home to the Coachella Valley dial. Many have made their way into The Great American Songbook like Bobby Darin’s ‘Beyond the Sea,’ Frank Sinatra’s ‘I’ve Got You Under My Skin,’ Shelley Fabares’ ‘Johnny Angel,’ Frankie Avalon’s ‘Venus,’ and Sam Cooke’s ‘You Send Me.’ These songs were timeless and memorable when they first came out on vinyl. And they remain so today. Starting Monday, residents across the valley can tune in to MeTV FM at 92.1 FM or stream online via the station’s digital platform.
