Beasley Media Group Sports “97.5 The Fanatic” WPEN-FM Burlington NJ/Philadelphia has announced a new on-air lineup starting Monday, August 17.
Midday host Jon Marks will move to mornings from 6-10am alongside Andrew Salciunas to fill the opening created by John Kincade’s departure at the end of June. Marks returned to WPEN-FM last September after previously working at the station from 2006 to 2016 rising from a producer on then “ESPN 950” WPEN in mornings and then the Mike Missanelli Show. He later spent time co-hosting multiple morning shows at the station. He then spent six years at Audacy Sports 94.1 WIP Philadelphia first hosting nights and then afternoons before resigning in late 2023.
With Marks’ move to mornings, midday show producer Ray Dunne will rise to co-host alongside Sean Brace from 10am to 2pm. The station’s “Unfiltered with Ricky Bo and Bill Colarulo” will remain in afternoons from 2-6pm.
Beasley Philadelphia VP/Market Manager Paul Blake said, “Jon Marks has earned the trust of Philadelphia sports fans through years of outstanding work on the air, making him a natural choice to drive our morning show. Along with Andrew, Sean, Ray, Ricky and Bill, we’re confident this lineup reflects the depth of talent at The Fanatic and reinforces our commitment to delivering the best local sports talk in Philadelphia.”
Program Director Scott Masteller followed, “Jon has built tremendous momentum as host of Middays with Marks, making this the right time to elevate him into morning drive. His chemistry with Andrew Salciunas gives us an outstanding combination of experience, energy and perspective to start the day for Philadelphia sports fans. At the same time, Ray Dunne has earned this opportunity through years of hard work behind the scenes, and we’re excited to pair him with Sean Brace. With Ricky Bo and Bill Colarulo continuing to lead afternoons, we’re confident this lineup will keep listeners engaged from the first segment of the morning through the final whistle each day.”
