Former Westwood One syndicated evening host Zach Sang is returning to broadcast radio on Connoisseur Media CHR “99.7 Now” KMVQ San Francisco.
Sang will be heard Monday through Thursday nights from 10pm to 2am and on Sundays from 8pm-12am. It marks a return to broadcast radio for Sang, who previously hosted Westwood One’s “Zach Sang & The Gang” turned “Zach Sang Show” in nights from 2012 until the end of 2021. After departing the network, Sang moved to Amazon Music, first on its now-defunct Amp platform and later for a multi-platform show including YouTube, streaming, podcasting, and social media.
Sang previously hosted a similar show for defunct internet start-up Goom Radio and worked for Nickelodeon’s streaming audio channel. The show also helped jumpstart the careers of multiple members of his show including now WRVW Nashville morning host Ricki Sanchez, WJXA Nashville morning host Hannah Byrom, and WHTZ New York late night host Shelley Rome.
KMVQ will be the first affiliate for an upcoming national rollout.
