First Media Services will expand its holdings in Georgia with the purchase of 92.1 WHHR Vienna and 104.9 W285GE Albany from Radio By Grace.
The $10,000 purchase is a rare move of a commercial allocation back from a non-commercial operator to a commercial operator as it will join First Media Service’s five stations in the Albany market. The station currently operates as part of Radio By Grace’s Christian Preaching network. WHHR is a Class A signal halfway between Macon and Albany.
First Media Services owns News/Talk 1590 WALG/99.3 W257ED Albany, Adult R&B “V101.7” WQVE Albany, “Rock 103” WJAD Leesburg, Country “Georgia 104.5” WKAK Albany, and Hot AC “107.7 Now-FM” WNOU Sasser.
