Florida International University is selling their student-run “88.1 The Roar” WRGP Homestead FL to Hope Media Group for $152,500.
WRGP will become Hope Media Group’s second station in the Miami market joining Spanish Christian “Vida Unida” 90.9 WLFE Cutler Bay. The organization also owns co-channel Christian AC “Way-FM” 88.1 WAYF West Palm Beach.
WRBP is a Class A signal operating with 165w/128m.
FIU retains its two translators in 95.3 W237CP Miami and 96.9 W245BF North Miami, but the sale contract does not indicate how they will be fed going forward.
