Erin Austin is returning to Audacy Country “100.3 The Bull” KILT-FM Houston as afternoon host.
Austin previously served as Assistant Music Director/midday host at KILT-FM from 2009 to 2020 and has been based at Audacy Memphis since 2021 where she currently hosts middays on Country “99.7 The Wolf” WLFP and afternoons on AC “104.5 The River” WRVR. She also tracks afternoons on Audacy’s 92.5 WBEE Rochester NY and “93.1 The Wolf” WPAW Greensboro NC.
A native of Portland OR, Austin began her career at Country 98.7 KUPL has also hosted middays at “93.7 The Bull” KSD St. Louis, nights at 100.7 KASE Austin, co-hosted mornings at Hot AC 94.5 WKTI Milwaukee and “FM 100” WMC-FM Memphis in her career.
Austin succeeds Nick Russo who departs after twelve years at the station. He first joined KILT-FM in 2014 as a weekend host before rising to nights in 2015 and then afternoons in 2016. He previously was APD/MD at CHR 94.1 KTFM San Antonio, hosted nights at Rhythmic CHR “Z95” KZFM and middays at Country 103.7 KOUL Corpus Christi. Russo had also been tracking afternoons at “106.5 The Wolf” WDAF-FM Kansas City.
