After agreeing to purchase twenty of High Plans Radio Network’s stations last week, the Atonn Muhammad led Blacksun Private Equity is now purchasing three AMs and three translators in Arkansas from Jay Brentlinger’s Broadcast Industry Group for $2 million. Blacksun will acquire R&B Oldies 1340 KCAT/92.7 K224FN Pine Bluff and Classic Rock “Arkansas Rocks” 880 KLRG Sheridan/94.5 K233BF Greenbrier and 1190 KASZ White Hall/98.9 K255AX Pine Bluff AR.
After announcing the deal earlier this month, Riverfront Broadcasting has filed its purchase of “Fox Sports 1150/106.7” KIMM/K294BT Rapid City from Nate Brown’s Black Hills Broadcasting for $200,000. The deal included a programming agreement in which Riverfront began operating KIMM on August 1.
Mendocino County Public Broadcasting will acquire Silent 1250 KLLK Willits/104.3 K282CC Ukiah CA from Bicoastal Media for $1000. The station will join the buyer’s Public News/Talk network heard on 90.7 KZYX Philo/91.5 KZYZ Willits/88.1 K201HR Fort Bragg.
Sacred Heart University sells 1260 WSHU Westport CT and translators 91.3 W217AF Huntington Station NY and 103.1 W276DY Stamford CT to Omega Vision Network for $130,000. The buyer owns silent 1460 WVOX New Rochelle NY. WSHU/W276DY are part of Sacred Heart’s Public News/Talk network, while W217AF currently rebroadcasts 91.1 WSHU-FM Fairfield with a mix of News/Talk and Classical programming.
Todd Mohr’s Aurora Media sells Classic Rock “92.7 The Legend” WRPP Manistique MI to Gospel Opportunities for $160,000. The buyer owns a network based at 95.7 WHWL Marquette.
CIG Community Investment Group LLC acquires Oldies/Talk 1340 KLID Poplar Bluff MO from Browning-Skidmore Broadcasting for $50,000. The deal includes the stations 2.5 acre property.
New Life Ministries donates 1150 WNLR Churchville VA to Sonshine Ministries. An LMA took effect in March 2025 with WNLR simulcasting their 1470 WBTX Broadway-Timberville.
