Gateway Creative Broadcasting St. Louis Operations Manager Mike Couchman is joining Pillar Media as Chief Programming Officer.
In his new role Couchman will oversee Christian ACs “Star 93.3” WAKW Cincinnati, “Star 99.1” WAWZ Zarepath NJ, and “Star 101.5” KSRC Watkins/Denver CO along with Christian Rhythmic “Flo 107.1” KFCO Bennett/Denver and “AM 910” KPOF Westminster/Denver. He succeeds Matt Stockman, who announced his exit in May. Stockman will stay onboard until Couchman arrives in their Aurora CO offices on November 14.
At Gateway, Couchman helped create the Christian Rhythmic “BOOST Radio” network and expand it to 25 signals during his thirteen year tenure at the organization. He previously has held roles as APD/MD in two stints for KSOS Las Vegas, Program Director for “101.9 Way-FM” KXWA Denver and WLGH Lansing MI, and on-air roles at multiple Christian AC stations across the country.
