The Alaska Broadcasters Association announced today that it has named iHeartMedia Anchorage/Fairbanks Area President Kim Williams as its Broadcaster of the Year and will induct J.R. Lewis into its Hall of Fame.

Williams has spent her entire career at iHeartMedia and its predecessors starting her career as an account executive for Pacific Star and AM/FM Fairbanks before rising to Sales Manager for Clear Channel and then Market Manager in 2009 followed by Area President adding oversight of Anchorage and Hawaii in July 2024. She has also served on the ABA board including multiple terms as President.

ABA Executive Director Cathy Hiebert said, “Kim has stepped up to serve Alaska’s broadcasters with an enthusiasm and dedication that are truly unmatched. Kim went above and beyond in 2026 in her service to Alaska’s broadcasters, demonstrating an exceptional level of dedication, leadership, and commitment to the industry.”


Lewis, who owns Country/Rock “The Clam” 1450 KLAM and AC “100.9 The Eagle” KCDV Cordova, will become the 80th member of the ABA Hall of Fame joining his father Jay Lewis who was inducted in 2005. During his career, Lewis has also served as a news anchor for KTVF-TV.

Hiebert said, “J.R. Lewis is a true representative of what the ABA Hall of Fame stands for: leadership, dedication to the industry, and a steadfast commitment to contributing to his communities.”
