Neversink Media owner Bud Williamson said, “Mike has spent years building relationships throughout this region. He knows these communities and, more importantly, the people and organizations doing the work every day. Bringing Mike into Neversink Media Group gives us an opportunity to strengthen those relationships and create new ones throughout the communities served by our stations. Being locally owned and operated means we feel the impact directly of supporting our neighbors & visitors with relevant local content focused on the Hudson Valley.”
AK22 owner Katie Berghorn stated, “At AK22, we value people. The relationship between a local radio station and its community has to be about more than selling advertising or asking someone to listen. Some of the most important things happening in the Hudson Valley are being done by VFW posts, volunteer firefighters, local nonprofits, musicians, businesses and people who simply care about where they live. We want our stations to be connected to those people.”
