Longtime AC “WEBE 108” Westport CT morning host Storm N Norman and News/Talk 600 WICC Bridgeport/95.9 WICC-FM Southport CT afternoon host Paul Pacelli have exited the company as part of this week’s cuts.

Norman was on his second stint at WEBE joining it as morning host at its launch in 1984 and remaining until retiring in 2013. He would return to mornings in May 2019 when Connoisseur acquired the cluster. Pacelli also joined the company in May 2019 after previously working at 1360 WDRC Hartford, 1410 WPOP Hartford, 1220 WQUN New Haven, 1400 WSTC Stamford/1350 WNLK Norwalk and 840 KXNT Las Vegas during his career.

Connoisseur SVP/Programming Keith Dakin told CTInsider, “We were thrilled to bring Norm back to WEBE in 2019 after he had spent many years with the station, and we certainly hope he will remain a part of WEBE in some capacity. Regardless of what comes next, Norm will always be a part of the WEBE family. He is a good friend of the station, and we are grateful for everything he has brought to WEBE and our listeners over the years.”

Jon Kamal, who also co-hosts “The Download” with Chris Williams from 12-2pm on WICC/WICC-FM and tracks nights on Classic Rock 99.1 WPLR New Haven, will add mornings at WEBE. “The Download” will also re-air from 5-7pm with Compass Media Networks’ “Markley, Van Camp & Robbins” added from 2-5pm.
