iHeartMedia has signed a multi-year renewal of their broadcast agreement with the NFL’s Green Bay Packers.
Classic Hits “95.7 Big-FM” WRIT-FM Milwaukee, which supplanted defunct Sports “97.3 The Game” WRNW as the franchise’s broadcast home halfway through last season will continue to carry all Packers game broadcasts along with pre and post-game coverage.
iHeart will also continue to carry Packers broadcasts on “Fox Sports 920” WOKY Milwaukee, News/Talk 1310 WIBA and Classic Rock 101.5 WIBA-FM Madison, and CHR “Z100” WBIZ-FM Eau Claire WI. The company began carrying Packers games for the 2022 season after previously being heard on 620 WTMJ from 1943 to 2021.
Packers Chief Sales and Business Development Officer Craig Benzel said, “We’re excited to extend our partnership with iHeartMedia. Through this collaboration and iHeart’s platforms, we’re able to bring Packers football to fans around Wisconsin and across the country. We look forward to building on this shared success and connecting with more fans through the Packers Radio Network.”
iHeart Grand Rapids/Muskegon/Milwaukee/Madison Regional President Tim Feagan said, “Packers football is such an important part of the culture here in Wisconsin, and we’re thrilled to continue giving fans a front-row seat to all the action. From the excitement leading up to kickoff through the final play and postgame analysis, 95.7 BIG FM is proud to continue serving as the Milwaukee home for Packers football.”
