Zamora Broadcasting Systems’ 107.9 W300DI Dearborn MI received a Notice of Violation for operating with an unauthorized antenna pattern and excessive power. The commission noted that W300DI is “authorized to operate with a log periodic SCA Two Skewed CL-
FM (V) S antenna at azimuths of 30 degrees and 270 degrees. At the time of inspection,
the agent observed the Station operating with an antenna array comprised of three Aldena
AST.05.02.336 antennas oriented in directions of 50 degrees, 140 degrees, and 235
degrees. Zamora’s array deviated from and failed to maintain the authorized antenna
pattern, as the antenna oriented at 140 degrees could not produce the required null in that
direction.” In regards to the power they stated, “According to its license, the Station is authorized to operate with a transmitter output power (TPO) of 38 Watts. During the inspection, the agent observed that the Station was operating a RVR Electronica TEX150LCD transmitter with a TPO of 150.0 Watts, which is 394 percent of the authorized TPO.”
W300DI is licensed to operate with 85w/161m rebroadcasting Regional Mexican “La Z” 1310 WDTW Dearborn/Detroit.
DAIJ Media has received a Notice of Violation for the former tower site of its 980 KQUE Rosenberg-Richmond TX for failing to maintain the tower painting and lighting. The FCC noted that a DAIJ representative confirmed to the FCC that repairs had not been made through multiple communications since last December.
License Cancellations
With it being silent since May 2025 following storm damage to its towers, SummitMedia’s 1260 KSGF Springfield MO was cancelled after the company acknowledged an FCC inquiry on its status and confirmed its end of operation. KSGF’s former simulcaster 104.1 KSGF-FM Oak Grove continues with its Conservative Talk programming.
After going silent in July due to a broken cable on its tower, Mountain Top Media surrendered the license of 1400 WBTH Williamson WV and its translator 102.5 W273BC Williamson. Its Christian “Peace Radio” programming continues on former simulcasters 900 WLSI/95.9 W240CL Pikeville and 1460 WEKB/104.3 W282BZ Elkhorn City KY.
