Duke Dance’s SVI Media has assumed operations of Jackson Hole Radio LLC’s five stations in western Wyoming.
SVI Media, which owns five stations in southwest Wyoming, has entered into an LMA with owner Scott Anderson’s Jackson Hole Radio to operate Soft AC 92.9 KEZQ Iona, Country 93.5 KJAX Jackson/104.1 K281BH Driggs, Rock “KZ 95.3” KZJH Jackson/95.7 K239AU Driggs/100.9 K265DA Jackson, AAA 96.9 KMTN Jackson, and Regional Mexican “La Nueva” 1340 KSGT/96.3 K242BU Jackson. Anderson, who began working at the company in 1990, acquired the stations acquired the stations in 2019. He told the Jackson Hole News & Guide that he is pursuing “new professional interests at a private radio company in Colorado”, adding “I’ve known the gang at SVI Media for many years. I trust them with the programming, and I think they’ll do a great job.”
Dance told the publication that no major changes are coming to the stations, other than some “slight tweaks” to KJAX to adjust for the passing of longtime morning host Del Ray John last year at the age of 80. The company has also added video broadcasts for Jackson Hole High School football on top of their audio coverage.
SVI Media also owns Hot AC “Swift 98.7” KRSV-FM Afton, Country “The Spur” 105.3 KDWY Diamondville, 940 KMER/92.5 K223DD Kemmerer, and 1210 KRSV/107.5 KRSV-FM Afton, and AC “The Wave” 1450 KVSI/101.7 K269FQ/104.5 K283CX Montpelier.
