Townsquare Media shifted Spanish Adult Hits “Juan 101.7” KLTD Temple/Killeen TX to Variety Hits “101.7 Jack-FM” today.
Utilizing the national version of the Variety Hits brand with zero local elements, the change ends five years of Spanish language programming on the frequency. When Classic Rock “101.7 K-Rock” flipped to Regional Mexican in May 2021, the station was coming off of a 2.2 share in the Fall 2020 Nielsen Audio ratings. That had dropped to a 0.6 share in the past three surveys.
