Hubbard has flipped Brokered Talk 1150 KKNW Seattle to Classic Country “Bull Classics” simulcasting 98.9 KPNW-HD2 Seattle.
The move gives an in-market competitor to Lotus’ “101.5 Hank-FM” KPLZ-FM while flanking sister “98.9 The Bull” KPNW-FM with core artists including George Strait, Alan Jackson, Reba McEntire, Garth Brooks, Brooks & Dunn, Shania Twain and Toby Keith.
Hubbard Seattle Market President Nick Beyer said, “98.9 The Bull is our home for New Country, and Bull Classics gives us a natural way to expand that offering.”
Operations Manager Scott Mahalick followed, “Today’s New Country stands on the shoulders of legends. Without Reba, Dolly, Garth or Alan, there’d be no Ella, Stella, Luke, Zach or Kasey. Now you have a choice for classics.”
