SourceAudio’s Alpha Libraries is launching Alpha Imaging for Radio, a new imaging and sound design resource featuring 750,000 elements to help radio stations create distinctive, custom-branded audio.
The new service is built on their Alpha Libraries platform with 3.9 million music and sound effects including imaging shells, beds, drones, impacts, sweeps, risers, transitions, artist IDs, listener drops, and other sound design elements for stations across all formats.
Alpha Libraries VP/Radio and Library Services Steve Wall said, “Great imaging isn’t just what happens between the songs, it’s part of what makes a station recognizable, memorable, and uniquely its own. We created Alpha Imaging for Radio because every radio station has its own personality, audience, and identity, and its sound should reflect that every time a listener tunes in. We’re thrilled to be giving producers and programmers an incredible palette of sounds and creative tools to do just that and more.”
Freelance Radio Producer, Imaging Director and Sound Designer at Audacy Taz commented, “Alpha Imaging is a colossal audio playground with everything producers need to sound completely different from everyone else in the market. Great imaging and production is homemade, like silly putty. It’s sticky, and when done right, it glues a station’s brand together like a warm hug. I’ve used it for Rock, Country, and Alternative formats, and these stations sound big, awesome, and incredibly fun.”
The new service is available with flexible subscription and licensing options, including cash and barter arrangements.
