Bill Tafrow will retire from Audacy AC “B101” WBEB Philadelphia on Friday, October 30.
He told listeners, “The time just flew. I worked my way in, up and around and somehow ended up on the morning show and had some amazing years with Jenn Ryan my former partner. I’d be lying if her retiring almost two years ago, a little piece of me went out that door as well. It was an awesome honor to do afternoons here at the B, but its coming to an end. My heart is full. It truly is. I understand when people say that, but I know what it means now. I got to do everything I wanted to do in radio. There’s not one more thing left for me to do here on the B.”
Tafrow joined WBEB in 2003 as a weekend overnight host and shortly thereafter rose to morning show producer. He became morning co-host alongside Jenn Ryan in 2015 until her retirement from the station last March. Shortly thereafter he moved to the 12-7pm timeslot he has held since. Prior to joining WBEB, Tafrow held roles at NJN Radio, WBUX Doylestown PA, and Westwood One.
