Midwest Communications flipped 930 WFAT/102.7 W274AQ Battle Creek MI to a simulcast of News/Talk 590 WKZO/W295CL Kalamazoo on Election Day.
The move improves WKZO’s coverage on the east side of the shared market for ratings purposes and fills the Talk opening that followed Townsquare Media’s flip of 1360 WKMI Kalamazoo and 95.3 WBCK Battle Creek to Sports last December.
WFAT/W274AQ had been Oldies “Cool-FM” simulcasting 101.1 WQXC Allegan since February 2025. Before that it was Classic Hits “The Fat One“.
