Curtis Media Group Country 94.7 WQDR-FM Raleigh has introduced Jenn Lopez as its new co-host of the “Q Morning Crew” alongside Mike Wheless.
Lopez joins WQDR-FM from the same role at Audacy Hot AC “Mix 105.1” WOMX Orlando. She originally worked at WOMX and then sister CHR “101.9 Amp Radio” WQMP as a part-timer from 2015 to 2017. After three years at the former Country “103.1 The Wolf” WOTW as morning co-host from 2017 to 2020, Lopez would return to WOMX for mornings in February 2021, and had been back in the daypart since September 2023 after a short run in middays until departing in late October ahead of her move to WQDR-FM.
Lopez joins 34 year morning show veteran Wheless in the timeslot filling the opening created by Amanda Daughtry’s departure at the end of June.
