Longport Media continues its tweaking process at its recently acquired Atlantic City, NJ cluster.
Classic Rock “103.7 The Shark” WMGM-FM drops its Shark moniker and has shifted to Mainstream Rock known simply as “103.7 WMGM Rocks“.
Longport Media previously relaunched Classic Hits “Kool 98.3” with a full airstaff. Earlier this week, the company dropped its simulcast of “La Fiesta” from former sister 98.5 WBON Westhampton, NY on 1490 WBSS and 1580 WGYM. Those stations are currently relaying News/Talk 1400 WOND. A format change is expected to follow at sister CHR “Wild 102.7” WWAC in the coming weeks.

Very excited about the change! Finally I get a radio station in my windowless prison of an office that plays modern rock as well as classic rock.
One thing is for sure, I was a fan of The Shark, and enjoyed the playlist. Sure sad to see it go. On the other hand, I hope this new format works well.
