Saga has flipped Classic Country “Big Buck Country 106.9” WZBK-FM Milwaukee to Rhythmic CHR “Energy 106.9“.
The station is launching with 10,069 songs commercial free under Program Director Brandon Rowe. The flip places the station in competition with Entercom’s “103.7 Kiss-FM” WXSS and Clear Channel’s “97.3 Radio Now” WRNW.
106.9 was on the verge of flipping to CHR “Now 106.9” in May of 2010, when following our report of the domain registration, Clear Channel beat Saga to the punch and launched “97.3 Radio Now“.

Having listening to the station, I have to say I’m impressed with the presentation despite the signal they’re on, plus its great to see a Rhythmic Top 40 outlet back on the Milwaukee airwaves.
