Clear Channel Announces Additional Stations For Bobby Bones Rollout

Bobby Bones Clear Channel US103.5 WFUS Tampa 95.5 KWNR Las Vegas Big I 107.9 KBQI AlbuquerqueAs Bobby Bones made his debut at new flagship WSIX Nashville, Clear Channel has revealed more stations that will debut the show over the next couple weeks.

Previously announced were “KASE 101” 100.7 KASE Austin, “93.7 the Bull” KSD-FM St. Louis, “106.1 The Twister” KTGX Tulsa, “Cat Country 107.1” WCKT Fort Myers, “B100” WOBB Albany GA, “Kicker 95.1” KYXR Beaumont, and 98.1 WTXT Tuscaloosa. Since the announcement Clear Channel has flipped or relaunched “Wild Country 97.1” KNST-FM Tucson and “102.1 The Bull” KSSN Wichita to build around Bones’ show.

The new affiliates announced are:

“US 103.5” WFUS Tampa where existing morning host Catfish will shift to afternoons.

95.5 KWNR Las Vegas

“96.3 Star Country” WMAD Madison

“Big I 107.9” WBQI Albuquerque

103.7 WCKY-FM Findlay/Toledo, OH replacing Big D & Bubba

LOS ANGELES, February 19, 2013 — Premiere Networks, the number one audio network in the U.S., today announced that 35 country radio stations will carry The Bobby Bones Show, which will launch nationwide Monday, February 25. As the affiliate count continues to rapidly expand, the program, which transitioned from a CHR format and debuted on Nashville’s The BIG 98/WSIX yesterday, February 18, will launch in the following top stations/markets: WFUS-FM/Tampa-St. Petersburg, FL; KSD-FM/St. Louis, MO; WCKY-FM/Findlay, OH; KWNR-FM/Las Vegas, NV; KASE-FM/Austin, TX; WCKT-FM/Ft. Meyers-Naples, FL; KNST-FM/Tucson, AZ; KTGX-FM/Tulsa, OK; KBQI-FM/Albuquerque, NM; KHEY-FM/El Paso, TX; KTOM-FM/Monterey-Salinas, CA; WAVW-FM/Ft. Pierce, FL; WMAD-FM/Madison, WI; KSWF-FM/ Springfield, MO; WSTH-FM/Columbus GA; KMFX-FM/Rochester, MN; KYKR-FM/Beaumont, TX; WTXT-FM/Tuscaloosa, AL; WOBB-FM/Albany, GA and more. The news was announced today during a press conference hosted by The Big 98/WSIX at the Country Music Hall of Fame’s legendary Ford Theater in Nashville. To kick off the event Country star Brad Paisley shared a special video message with Bones and revealed the national markets where The Bobby Bones Show will launch on February 25. Paisley will also appear as Bones’ first guest, adding to the excitement of the syndication launch. WSIX’s Amy Paige and The AntMan then hosted a Q&A session with Bones, followed by special appearances from Country music stars including Jake Owen, Gloriana, Joe Nichols, Craig Campbell, Jana Kramer, Josh Thompson, Dustin Lynch, Parmalee, Brett Eldridge, Chris Janson, The Farm, Eric Paslay, Jon Pardi, Charlie Worsham, Kristin Kelly, Greg Bates and Joel Crouse, who all stopped by to give Bones and his co-hosts Lunchbox and Amy a warm welcome. Broadcasting live from WSIX in Nashville, The Bobby Bones Show airs weekday mornings from 5 to 10 a.m. CT. Each day, hosts Bobby Bones, Lunchbox and Amy welcome the biggest names in country music and entertain listeners with their unique mix of pop-culture news and information, crazy stunts and hilarious conversations. Country Top 30 with Bobby Bones, a new four-hour weekend country music program, will launch nationwide, the weekend of March 2 and 3. The weekly countdown show will feature hosts Bones, Lunchbox and Amy as they showcase the top Country songs, in addition to sharing their conversations with the artists. Originating from Nashville, Country Top 30 with Bobby Bones is available for air Saturday or Sunday between 6 a.m. and midnight local time. In addition, Bones will continue to host his weekly FOX Sports Radio program, Saturdays from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. ET / 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. PT on nearly 300 radio stations nationwide, also available on iHeartRadio and XM169.

About Bobby Bones
Born and raised in Arkansas, Bobby Bones began his radio career at Henderson State University’s KSH 91.1 The Switch at the age of 17, where he graduated with a degree in Radio/TV. During that time, he also worked at KLAZ 105.9 in Hot Springs, Ark., as a part-time air talent. In 2002, Bones was hired by Q100/KQAR in Little Rock, Ark., and The Bobby Bones Night Show was born. In 2003, Bones moved to Austin, Texas where he began hosting The Bobby Bones Show Monday through Friday from 5-10 a.m. CT on 96.7 KISS FM. Joined on-air by Lunchbox and Amy, they attracted listeners in droves, as well as top rankings in the market. For his work on the program, Bones was named “Austin Radio Personality of the Year” in 2009, 2010 and 2011, and Austin’s Alliance of Women in Media honored the program with their “Radio Personality of the Year” award seven years in a row.
