Armada Media has sold its six Aberdeen/Redfield, SD stations to the newly created Prairie Winds Broadcasting.
The new Prairie Winds, headed by Brian Lundquist, will continue to operate the stations under the “Hub City Radio” brand that Armada continued from its previous owner. Terms of the sale have yet to be disclosed. The stations included in the sale are:
- News/Talk 930 KSDN Aberdeen
- Sports “ESPN Aberdeen” 1420 KGIM/107.1 K296FM Aberdeen
- Rock “The Rock 94.1” KSDN-FM Aberdeen
- AC “Sunny 97.7” KNBZ Redfield
- Country “Pheasant Country 103.7” KGIM-FM Redfield
- CHR “The Point 106.7” KBFO Aberdeen
Armada Media had acquired the stations from Aberdeen Radio Ranch for $9.25 million in 2006.
