Ave Maria University has sold Catholic 98.5 WDEO-FM San Carlos Park/Fort Myers to Educational Media Foundation for $2.2 million.
The acquisition is EMF’s first in the Fort Myers market. The station already operates on a non-commerical license with 18.5kW at 113 meters.
Following the sale Ave Maria will still own Catholic formatted AM’s in Ann Arbor and Saginaw, MI.
