Sea-Comm Media sells 95.9 W240AS Wilmington, NC and claims it will sell 103.7 WBNE Wrightsville Beach, NC to Sunrise Broadcasting.
In two separate deals, American General Media will sell 1000 KKIM Albuquerque and 1410 KERI Bakersfield to Wilkins Radio.
Station Sales
Scott Thompson’s BIG Radio acquires “Oldies 1490” WGEZ Beloit, WI from Alliance Communications for $150,000. WGEZ will join a local cluster including Talk “Big 1380” WTJK South Beloit, IL and Rock “105.9 The Hog” WWHG Evansville, WI.
Gregory Communications acquires 560 WGAI Elizabeth City, NC from Max Media for $100,000. Gregory began operating the station via LMA on September 1, when they flipped the station from Talk to Gospel.
Walton County Broadcasting sells News/Talk 1460 WZEP Defuniak Springs, FL to Kyzer Communications for $330,000.
Linder Radio Group is reacquiring Classic Hits 94.7 KNSG Springfield, MN from Bruce Linder for $55,000. Linder Radio Group head John Linder previously sold KNSG to his brother Bruce in 2007. It rejoins a Marshall, MN cluster including CHR 99.7 KKCK, Country 105.1 KARL, Rock 107.5 KARZ, and Talk News/Talk 1400 KMHL.
Oasis of Faith sells 91.5 KRVP Falfurrias, TX to Christian Ministries of the Valley for $1.
Translator Sales
Delmarva Educational Association is acquiring 107.9 W300AS Orange Park/Jacksonville, FL from Calvary Chapel of Twin Falls for $200,000. Delmarva has also applied to relocate the translator to 97.3 with 99 watts at 250 meters rebroadcasting “91.7 The Promise” WTRJ-FM Orange Park (Coverage Map).
Cumulus Media acquires 98.3 W252BN Tallahassee, FL from Christian Radio Fellowship for $125,000. W252BN will rebroadcast Gospel “Heaven 1410” WHBT Tallahassee.
Digity Media acquires 96.7 K244FA Mason City, IA from David M. Stout for $25,000 to rebroadcast Standards 1490 KRIB Mason City.
First Ventures Capital Partners sells 96.3 K242AZ Searcy, AR to Crain Media for $20,000 to rebroadcast 1370 KAWW Heber City.
East Arkansas Broadcasters sells 106.5 K293BS Forrest City, AR to Forrest City Broadcasting for $35,000. K293BS will rebroadcast News/Talk 950 KXJK Forrest City.
Digital Radio Broadcasting and Sound of Life are exchanging translators in Newburgh, NY. 88.3 W202AR goes to Digital Radio Broadcasting, while 93.7 W229BH goes to Sound of Life.
Capitol Public Radio acquires the CP for 98.7 K254BY Graeagle, CA from Carousel Broadcasting for no consideration. The translator will rebroadcast 90.5 KKTO Tahoe City/Reno.
Screen Door Broadcasting acquires 101.9 K270BK Okmulgee, OK from Oklahoma State University for $27,000 to rebroadcast Catholic 88.3 KIOP Prague.
