WHIZ Media Group Hot AC “Z92” 92.7 WHIZ-FM South Zanesville, OH has relaunched with a more current hit music direction.
The move comes with new “Southeast Ohio’s Hit Music Station” positioning and imaging.

WHIZ-FM Z92 Zanesville has repositioned as “Southeastern Ohio’s Hit Music Station” transitioning into Adult CHR with a CHR lean. With the change comes new voiceguy, Dakota James, and new specialty programming coming soon. All current airstaff still remains in place including “The Z92 Morning Rush with Josh Tisonyai”, Middays/Afternoons with Andy Shepherd, and “The Interactive Night Show” with ‘The Real Deal’ Jonathan Steele.
“The fresh, new sound of Z92 will give us an advantage in our area. No other station in Zanesville plays top 40 music, and with covering a large part of the region, towns all over Southeastern Ohio will have a new home for all the hits. Our music is programmed here in-house and all of our on-air talent is live and local,” says Jonathan Steele, Music Director of Z92 and sister station, WZVL Highway 103.
Z92’s new website is in development but the stream is online at z92radio.com and available on the TuneIn Radio app.
