Cherry Creek Radio is making changes to its Helena, MT cluster.
On Wednesday, November 5, News/Talk simulcast 1240 KBLL Helena and 1340 KCAP Helena will go dark. To take their places Cherry Creek has agreed to purchase Standards “Classy 950” KMTX/96.3 K242BB Helena from Montana Radio Company. The KCAP call letters and the News/Talk format will move to 950/96.3.
Following the sale Montana Radio Company will still have four FM’s in the Helena market, while Cherry Creek Radio will have one AM and four FM’s.
