A fairly quiet week on the sales front.
Chaparral Broadcasting sells Classic Hits “Mojo 92.5” KBXI Park City/Billings, MT to Kurtis Anthony Breuning’s Anthony Media for $650,000. Anthony has been operating the station via a Time Brokerage Agreement since February 2010. If within five years of the closing of the sale Anthony sells the station, Chaparral will receive 20% of the proceeds exceeding the original $650,000 purchase price. Should Anthony enter into an LMA, JSA, TBA, or similar agreement with a third party, Chaparral will receive $70,000.
Inspirational Deliverance Center sells Gospel 1340 WADE Wadesboro, NC to New Life Community Temple Of Faith for $10. New Life will begin operating the station immediately via LMA.
Rome Radio Partners is swapping Classic Country “Hometown 1220” WZOT Rockmart, GA to Heirborn Ministries for Southern Gospel 710 WROM Rome. The deal will enable Heirborn to operate 24/7 on 1220, while WROM will be utilized as the originating station for 103.1 W276CL Atlanta Junction, which was purchased last week by Rome Radio Partners head Howard Toole.
