Now “Big 93.9“, KMXR joins the multitude of stations over the past few years to move away from the “Oldies” name. With no changes to its completely Premium Choice lineup, the station is now positioning itself as “Corpus Christi’s Classic Hits”.

Hopefully the new name comes with a little more effort. KMXR sounds like a dull jukebox compared to the much more lively feel over at 92.7 KBAY.
