Radio Disney continues its sell off as 990 WMYM Miami is sold to Actulidad Radio Group for an as yet undisclosed price. Actulidad operates Spanish News/Talk trimulcast 1020 WURN Kendall/1040 WLVJ Boynton Beach/107.1 WURN-FM Key Largo. Adib Eden, President of Actulidad Radio Group states his intent to use the 990 signal to improve the reach of its news programming in South Florida.
Westplex Broadcasting is transferring Rock “100.7 The Viper” KFNS-FM Troy, MO to Viper Broadcasting for the assumption of $318,750 in debt. The new ownership group is made up of two of the previous’ partners. Steve Kaspar will retain his 40% stake, while Chris Blevins increases from 20% to 60% as John & Brandy Scheper exit. A previous restructuring in November 2013 never closed.
San Antonio Radioworks sells 1280 KMFR Pearsall, TX to Enduring Oil Exploration LLC for $9000. Enduring Oil operates a network of Classic Country stations “No Bull Radio” in South Texas.
Mountain Community Translators is selling 99.9 K260AL Arvada/Boulder, CO to Public Broadcasting of Colorado for $100,000. The translator will continue to be utilized to rebroadcast Classical 88.1 KVOD Lakewood/Denver.
Lazer Broadcasting acquires the CP for 102.1 K271CA Oxnard, CA for $75,000 from Life On The Way Communications. K271CA will rebroadcast Regional Mexican “La Mexicana 910” KOXR Oxnard.
University of Northwestern-St. Paul sells the CP for 107.1 W296CS Lakeland, FL to Hall Communications for $60,000. Hall will file a modification application for the translator in the next ten days.
NRG Media purchases the CP for 106.9 K295CF Waterloo, IA from E-String Wireless for $50,635. NRG will rebroadcast Sports “1330 ESPN” KWLO Waterloo on K295CF.
Christian Heritage Broadcasting donates 100.1 K261CH Carpenter, SD to Moody Bible Institute of Chicago.
