Crain Media has rearranged its Searcy, AR cluster northeast of Little Rock.
The Conservative Talk format and call letters of “News/Talk 99.1” KSMD Pangburn has moved to what was 1300 KRZS/106.5 K293CE Searcy. That makes room for the launch of Classic Country “99.1 The Stallion” on 99.1 KRZS.
1300 KRZS/106.5 K293CE and 1370 KAWW Heber Springs had been running a Sports format as “106.5 The Champion” utilizing much of the programming originating at former sister “93.3 The Jock” KKSP Bryant/Little Rock. That station is now operated by Salem Media as Christian AC “93.3 The Fish“. KAWW has flipped to a simulcast of sister Country 99.9 KWCK Searcy.
