Radio Disney continues its slow but steady sell-off with the divestiture of 1470 KIID Sacramento to Punjabi American Media for $800,000. The buyer currently leases and is in the process of purchasing 1450 KOBO Yuba City, CA. KIID will join KOBO in running the buyer’s South Asian “Punjabi Radio USA“.
American Radio Missions Foundation sells Christian Country “God’s Country 89.7” KRNF Montezuma, IA to VCY America for $251,100. KRNF will be VCY’s first station in Iowa and will air the Christian Preaching programming based at 107.7 WVCY Milwaukee.
Richard McCleod is selling his 66.6% share of Dial Broadcasting’s Country “Froggy 95.9” WKID Vevay, IN to 33.3% shareholder Adam Griffin for $105,000. Griffin bought his previous 33.3% stake last year from Mary Trimble in a deal not filed with the FCC.
Sun Broadcasting acquires 97.3 W247AQ Tropical Gulf Acres, FL from Reach Communications for $35,000. The translator will rebroadcast Sports “1240 The Fan” WFWN Fort Myers.
Hilltop Broadcasting acquires the Construction Permit for 102.3 W272CX Gettysburg, PA from Four Rivers Community Broadcasting for $10,000. The buyer will rebroadcast Oldies 1470 WTTR Westminster, MD.
Way Media sells the CP for 100.7 W264CR Gallatin, TN to WHIN, Inc. for $45,000 to rebroadcast Country 1010 WHIN Gallatin.
