Radio Station Sales Translator Assignment 90.9 Shine-FM KGCB Educational Media FoundationWhile the focus has been on their expansion in South Florida this week, Educational Media Foundation is also growing in Arizona. Grand Canyon Broadcasters sells 90.7 KGCB Prescott, 90.7 K214DT Flagstaff, and 101.9 K270BA Wickenburg to EMF for $1 million. Upon closing of the sale KGCB will flip from its locally programmed “90.9 Shine-FM” Christian AC format to “K-Love“.

Tyler Media is purchasing three translators around Tulsa, OK. John Jason Bennett sells 107.7 K299BL Tulsa and 107.9 K300CY Coweta to Tyler for $480,000, while Bennett’s Screen Door Broadcasting sells 107.7 K299BP Coweta for $10,000. All three translators will rebroadcast Regional Mexican “La Z” 1270 KTUZ Claremore/Tulsa.

KZLZ LLC. purchases the CP for 103.3 K277CV Tucson, AZ from Kevin Youngers for $100,000. K277CV will rebroadcast Regional Mexican “105.3 La Poderosa” KZLZ Casas Adobes.

Horizon Broadcasting sells “God’s Country” 106.9 KOJY Bloomfield/Ottumwa, IA to Mark McVey’s Tri-Rivers Broadcasting Company for $190,000. Tri-Rivers owns Country 100.5 KMEM Memphis, MO.

Ted Austin’s Madison Radio Partners acquires Silent 1230 KRXK Rexburg, ID from Rich Broadcasting for $300,000.

West Central Michigan Media Ministries purchases 1540 KTGG Spring Arbor and 104.7 W284AH Lansing, MI from Spring Arbor University for $230,000. The buyer operates the regional Christian Preaching “Strong Tower Radio” network.

Alaska Bible College donates 790 KCAM and 88.7 KCAM-FM Glennallen, AK to Joy Media Ministries.

La Raza Media Group purchases 92.7 W224CF Haines City, FL from Edgewater Broadcasting for $30,000.

Edgewater also sells 98.1 K251BL McAllen, TX to Mary Guthrie for $1. K251BL will continue to rebroadcast The Worship Center of Kingsville’s 91.1 KZTX Encino, TX.

North Texas Radio Group buys 107.9 K300BD Stephenville, TX from Tiffany Spearman for $22,910. K300BD will continue to rebroadcast 98.5 KWBY-FM Ranger.

Hoosier Broadcasting Corporation sells the CP for 92.1 W221CS Crawfordsville, IN to C.V.L. Broadcasting for $25,000. The translator will rebroadcast C.V.L.’s “Cool Oldies 1550” WCVL Crawfordsville.

Rubin Broadcasting purchases the CP for 100.3 K262CM Needles, CA from Community Translator Network. The purchase price was not attached to the FCC application, but the translator will rebroadcast Rubin’s News/Talk 1340 KTOX Needles.
