Duke Heading To Duluth

102.5 Duke-FM Duke KDWZ Duluth Superior Midwest CommunicationsMidwest Communications will launch its seventh Classic Country “Duke-FM” next week.

Northpine.com tweeted this morning that CHR 102.5 KDWZ Superior, WI/Duluth, MN will drop its format for the “Duke” brand on Monday, September 21. The move will leave Duluth without a CHR, as Townsquare Media Hot AC “Mix 108” 107.7 KBMX will be the closest. DukeFMDuluth.com was registered last week.

Midwest debuted the brand named after CEO Duke Wright in Terre Haute, IN in May 2014 and has since launched it in Appleton/Green Bay WI, Evansville IN, Fargo ND, Knoxville TN, and Lansing MI.
