Univision Radio has swapped format locations for two of its Albuquerque market stations.
Classic Hip-Hop “Yo 101.3” KKRG Albuquerque moves to the 105.1 frequency formerly held by Regional Mexican “105.1 Nuevo Mexico” KJFA Santa Fe, while the latter format goes in reverse. The move upgrades the Classic Hip-Hop format from the Class A signal on 101.3 to the Class C signal of 105.1. Both stations have already exchanged call letters.
“Yo 101.3” was the first launch of the Classic Hip-Hop boom in February 2014. It was up to a 2.0 share in the Spring Phase 2 Nielsen Audio ratings. KJFA’s Regional Mexican format on the other hand registered a 1.1 share.
