After the run of commercial-free Christmas music, Press has flipped 99.7 WBHX Tuckerton NJ to Classic Hits utilizing the same “99.7 The Island” moniker it began using in November.
Focusing on hits of the 60s and 70s, the new format places WBHX in direct competition with Greater Media’s 100.1 WJRZ Manahawkin. Ted Efaw, who had been working for Press as a newscaster and reporter, adds Program Director duties for The Island.
