In Portland where iHeart owned AC " K103 " 103.3 KKCW and Classic Hits " 106.7 The Eagle " KLTH are the top ranked commercial stations with an 8.8 and 7.6 share respectively, it is likely they are planning to place " The Breeze " brand on one of their two translators to prevent Entercom or Alpha Media from flipping a lower rated FM. The two likely destinations are Alternative " Alt 102.3 " K272EL or Classic Country " 103.7 The Legend " K279BO. There are no real obvious destinations for " Easy 99.3 ". Country " Kix 99.3 " 1280 KZFS/99.3 K257FX Spokane WA, which gained its current identity in March when its former 96.1 frequency flipped to Alternative , is our lead contender as the company has a second translator CP to pair with KZFS. Among other markets where iHeart owns stations on 99.3 are Harrisburg PA, Melbourne FL, Panama City FL, Tupelo MS, and Winchester VA. Marker Broadcasting has registered Breeze959.com for Classic Hits (currently all-Christmas) " Kool 95.9 " KJJZ Palm Springs. A flip to Soft AC would position KJJZ against Sunnylands Broadcasting's " CV 104.3 " KHCV, which features a Soft AC format heavy on neo-standards and Smooth Jazz. Sunnylands itself may have a change on the way to Palm Springs where its Classic Hits " Valley 106.5 " 1270 KVGH/106.5 K293CL has registered Your1065.com and YourFree1065.com . A site at the first domain identifies itself as " Free 106.5 - The Pride of the Coachella Valley ". Another market potentially receiving a Breeze is over the border in Edmonton where Stingray (formerly Newcap) has registered 963TheBreeze.com , Lite963.com , and Light963.com (along with .ca variations) for Classic Hits (currently all-Christmas) " 96.3 Capital-FM " CKRA-FM. The " Lite " branding was used in the Edmonton market on 95.7 CKEA from 2011-2013 until it flipped to Variety Hits " 95.7 Cruz-FM ". A new Urban is on its way to Dothan AL, where Alarado Media's Silent 700 WARB/105.9 W290DG is preparing to return to the air as Urban " Vibe 105.9 ". The station had been operating as Southern Rock/Blues " Roadhouse 106 " until being damaged by Hurricane Michael in October.
