iHeartMedia has registered ElPatron967.com and 967ElPatron.com for potential use on 96.7 WBZW Union City GA. The station, which serves the southern suburbs of Atlanta, has been stunting with commercial-free Christmas music since November 5. The domains would indicate a return of the Regional Mexican brand that was heard on iHeart’s 105.3 from 2006 to 2018. iHeart also has registrations made in April for 96BreezeATL.com, 96TheBreeze.com, and TheBreezeATL.com that could be put to use on WBZW.

Great Eastern Radio looks to be building a new winter wonderland on the current “Christmas 97.9” WXMS Au Sable NY/Burlington VT. The station applied today to change call letters to WSNO-FM, and a previous anonymous registration of 979ThePenguin.com is on a staging server awaiting to go live. Potentially connected, Great Eastern CHR “105.7 The Beat” 1450 WSNO/105.7 W289CH Barre VT’s site has been taken offline. Both of Great Eastern’s other stations in Burlington, Country “Froggy 100.9/104.3” 100.9 WWFY Berlin VT/104.3 WJKS Keeseville NY and Rock “107.1 Frank-FM” WRFK Barre and WWFK Plattsburgh West simulcast signals in Barre.
