The brand would match that of sister " 99.3 The Wave " WBQQ Kennebunk that launched in January 2024 . WBYA covers Maine's mid-coast area, while a flip from Country would take it out of direct format competition with Blueberry Broadcasting's " The Bear " trimulcast heard on 103.3 WMCM and move it between their AC " Kiss-FM " 102.5 WQSS and Classic Hits " Big 104 " 107.7 WBKA. Much like it did in December when 94.3 WZOC Plymouth/South Bend IN changed call letters to WYRX-FM weeks before flipping to a simulcast of “ Rock 107 ” WIRX St. Joseph MI, Mid-West Family Broadcasting is hinting at another change in those markets through a call letter change. What is currently " 97.5 Y Country " WYTZ Bridgman/Benton Harbor MI looks to be the next station in the region to serve both Benton Harbor and South Bend as it has applied to move its call letters to what is now Alternative "Live 99.9" WQLQ Benton Harbor. The 50kW/124m signal of 99.9 covers both markets. The Class A 3.8kW/126m 97.5 signal that only covers the Michigan side will become WRRA-FM. JVC Media has registered domains pointing towards its Spanish Tropical " La Fiesta " brand currently heard on 98.5 WBZO Westhampton NY to its two markets in Florida. JVC has registered LaFiesta1015.com for its 101.5 W268DQ Ocala FL. Currently fed by 102.3 WXUS-HD3, the translator currently carries the Conservative Talk " Florida Man Radio " brand also heard on 103.1 WZLB Valparaiso/Fort Walton Beach. In Fort Walton Beach, the registration was made for LaFiesta1069.com . That would point to Eugene Cella's Fort Walton Beach Radio LLC's recent sign-on WFWO Fort Walton Beach. WFWO launched in November and is currently running a mix of Standards, Big Bands and Jazz. Facebook pages for both brands have logos that match the Long Island station and its positioning of "El Sabor de" teasing the brands coming soon. Todd Nixon's Sticks Media has registered 971TheLake.com for Valkyrie Broadcasting Classic Country " 97.1 The Lake " KAYQ Warsaw MO. The domain and social media do not point at a format change, but rather a potential LMA or sale of the station. [/membership]
