Update 5:00pm: Just a half hour after our original report went live, CIGY made the shift to “Up 97.7” at 2:00 local time.
The station is debuting with a full airstaff. Tripp Anthony in mornings from 5:30 to 9, Ara from 9 to 3pm, Kev Wood from 3 to 8pm, and Grant Buchanan weekends.

Original Report 5/20 3:26pm: Rawlco Modern AC “Mix 97.7” CIGY Calgary looks to soon be heading for a shift to AC.
Up977.com was transferred to Rawlco’s webserver and is currently awaiting activation. The new station will presumably be identical to sister “Up 99.3” CIUP Edmonton with a broad mix of upbeat pop music. That shift would position the station between Rogers Hot AC “Lite 95.9” CHFM and Bell Media Rhythmic AC “Kool 101.5” CKCE.
