Walo Dávila Jumps To iHeartMedia To Program TÚ 94.9 Miami

IHeartMedia Spanish CHR “TÚ 94.9” WZTU Miami has appointed Walo Dávila as Program Director. Dávila joins iHeartMedia from Univision where he was programming “Mix 98.3” WRTO Miami and “X96.3” WXNY New York since 2006. YouTube stars ‘Los Pichy Boys’, Alejandro Gonzalez and Maikel Rodriguez have been tabbed by Univision’s Spanish CHR “Mix 98.3” WRTO Goulds/Miami as its new morning show starting Monday, February 27. The Cuba-born cousins turned what started as a series of Spanish language movie parodies into a full-fledged production company. iHeartMedia has relaunched Spanish Hot AC “Mega 94.9” WMGE Miami as “Tú 94.9“. The rebranding comes along with the announcement that local morning host Enrique Santos will join the station starting Monday, October 3. Santos exited Univision’s “Mix 98.3” WRTO earlier this week. In addition to hosting mornings at WMGE, Santos will server as Chairman and Chief Creative Officer of the company’s new iHeartLatino division. Santos’ program will be syndicated nationally via Premiere Radio Networks.
