Northwestern College of St. Paul, MN has expanded its its foothold in the Central part of the country with the acquisition of Christian AC 88.5 KLJC Kansas City and its translator in Emporia, KS from Calvary Bible College.
No terms were disclosed for the sale, which has yet to be filed with the FCC. Northwestern College owns 14 stations in Iowa, Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wisconsin airing either a Christian AC format branded as “Life” or “Faith” named Preaching format.
Fitting with those brands, Northwestern has already registered for Life885.com and .org domains for its new acquisition.
The Kansas City based Calvary Bible College has owned KLJC since its founding in 1970.
