Woof Boom Radio has relaunched 104.9 WERK Muncie as “The New Sound” with its Classic Hits format putting an extra emphasis on music from the 1980s.
Stating they are still playing music from the 1960s up to 2000, the move takes the focus away from the 60s and 70s in favor of the 80s. Core artists listed by WERK include Madonna, Michael Jackson, Duran Duran, Billy Joel, Fleetwood Mac, and Prince.

WERK has made its annual shift to Christmas Music to lead into whatever change is coming its way.
