Entercom has announced that Edgar ‘Shoboy’ Sotelo and Brian Moote will take over mornings at CHR “97.1 Amp Radio” KAMP Los Angeles starting in February.
Sotelo previously hosted mornings at sister CHR “92.3 Amp Radio” WBMP New York until its flip to Alternative in November. He also has previously worked at Regional Mexican “La Grande 107.5” KMVK Dallas. Moote joins the station from the syndicated Bert Show based at Cumulus CHR “Q100” WWWQ Atlanta where he served as a co-host for the past two years. Prior to joining the Bert Show, Moote co-hosted mornings at Modern AC “Click 98.9” KLCK Seattle and was a Los Angeles based standup comedian.
Sotelo and Moote fill the opening created by Carson Daly’s exit last July.
Entercom Communications, the #1 creator of live, original, local audio content in the United States, and its Los Angeles station 97.1 AMP Radio (KAMP-FM) announce that Edgar Sotelo and Brian Moote will be the new hosts of the morning show, effective February 2018.

Edgar Sotelo was previously the morning show host of WBMP New York AMP Radio. He was born in Mexico and raised in Southern California and is a previous Marconi winner.
Brian Moote was previously a part of “The Bert Show,” based out of Atlanta. He went to College in Southern California and is a stand-up comedian.
