Audacy Country “95.1 K-Frog” KFRG Riverside and 103.7 KSON San Diego Director of Promotions and Live Events Dana Johnson has joined iHeartMedia Country 92.3 WCOL Columbus as morning co-host alongside Dan Zuko.
Johnson, who also hosts weekend middays at KFRG, will continue in that role through the end of the year. In a video this weekend she announced her upcoming departure while revealing that she has been working remotely for over the past two years from Fort Wayne IN after her husband was transferred there for work in 2024. He recently received a promotion to Columbus where an “opportunity in radio in Columbus opened up that she couldn’t pass up”.
Debuting this morning alongside Zuko, Johnson succeeds Kayla Hanley who departed the station in August. Johnson began her career at KFRG in 2007 in promotions and would rise to CBS Radio Riverside Promotions Manager before moving to the syndicated “Big Time with Whitney Allen” as a producer and co-host in 2016. She returned to KFRG as Director of Promotions in 2019 and added those duties for KSON in 2021.
