Entercom’s continuous staff reductions have continue through the holiday season as Hot AC “107.9 The Link” WLNK Charlotte midday host Kelly Meyers stated on Friday her position was eliminated.
Meyers has been a staple in the daypart in Charlotte for the past decade with five years at CHR “Kiss 95.1” WNKS before joining WLNK in 2015. Meyers previously also hosted middays at KKRZ Portland and has worked at WBHT & WKRZ Scranton, WBLI Long Island, WIOQ Philadelphia, WHTZ and WWFS New York and Sirius during her career.
Meyers wrote that her cut came on the 22nd anniversary of the start of her radio career in 1997.
