River Radio is seeking a motivated, organized, and creative media professional to help take our sports brands to the next level. This position combines sports programming, content creation, station operations, website management, and game broadcast coordination into one exciting opportunity for someone passionate about sports and local media.

If you’re the type of person who knows the difference between a walk-off home run, a game-winning field goal, and a buzzer-beater, and you love creating content that gets fans talking, we want to hear from you.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Coordinate sports programming schedules and game broadcasts
• Oversee sports and news talk stations
• Produce station imaging, promos, and sports-related audio content for sports station
• Produce station imaging, promos, and news-related audio content for newstalk station
• Manage public service announcements and station logs
• Update station websites with local sports coverage, scores, news, schedules, and content
• Assist with content planning and execution across ESPN Southeast Missouri, KSIM/KZIM, Real Rock 99.3, and River Radio platforms
• Support live broadcasts, remote broadcasts, sporting events, and special promotions
• Collaborate with programming, sales, digital, and operations teams
• Help ensure FCC compliance and operational excellence

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Experience in radio, sports broadcasting, journalism, digital media, communications, or related fields
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Experience with audio production and editing software
• Familiarity with website content management systems and social media platforms
• Passion for sports, storytelling, and community engagement
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
