Entercom Country 92.5 WBEE-FM Rochester NY has announced the addition of Chris Konya to its “All New Bee Morning Coffee Club”.
Konya previously served as morning show producer at Entercom’s “98.9 The Buzz” WBZA Rochester from 2013 until March 2019. He also hosted nights at CHR “98 PXY” 97.9 WPXY during his earlier stint with the company. Before coming to Rochester, Konya was an associate producer for Scott Shannon & Todd Pettingill at WPLJ New York. He has recently operated Rochester Podcast Network.
Konya joins co-hosts Terry Clifford and TJ Sharp in mornings at WBEE-FM. Host Steve Hausmann retired last year and was replaced by Clifford who returned to mornings from middays, but then returned this year following the exit of Jeremy Newman earlier this year to fill-in until a new replacement was named.
Entercom, a leading media and entertainment company and one of the two largest radio broadcasters in the U.S., announced the addition of Chris Konya as morning show co-host for 92.5 WBEE (WBEE-FM), Rochester’s No. 1 country station. Konya will join veteran co-hosts Terry Clifford and TJ Sharp as part of “The All New Bee Morning Coffee Club,” weekdays from 5:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., effective immediately.

The move marks Konya’s second stint with Entercom Rochester. He previously spent six years serving in various roles in programming, including morning show producer for “The Breakfast Buzz with Spezzano and Sandy” as well as night show host for sister station 98 PXY (WPXY-FM). Prior to that, Konya was an associate producer for “Scott & Todd in the Morning” on WPLJ in New York City.
